Nick and I always have to be “adults.” We can never find the time to have fun together because we’re always stuck worrying about things like truck insurance and whether or not we’re going to have jobs next week.
I’m spending my birthday broke and alone, Nick can’t go visit his grandparents or anything. I got all this stuff planned for Tora-con and I might not be able to go because I might not be able to afford it. I mean, hopefully things sort themselves out, but they rarely do for the two of us. We’re like the unluckiest people on the planet or some shit. All I can do is hope I can get a new job and hope Nick doesn’t lose his truck. And shit. :/
